Youth leadership is the backbone of Freedom 4 Youth’s model. Participants engage in leadership development, peer mentorship, civic engagement, and systems advocacy—transforming lived experience into collective power.

Activities include leadership cohorts, peer mentorship and facilitation, policy advocacy and public testimony, community education campaigns, youth-led research and systems analysis, and participatory defense storytelling and organizing. Youth transition from being system-impacted to system-shaping leaders in their communities.
